The season has kicked off with quite a bang (literally!) with a grass-cutting, wall-hitting start to the weekend, a massive team effort to repair the LG ZB Falcon on Saturday night, and a very successful fight back over the three races resulting in a win for Sunday’s feature race. LG Falcon Race Report : Pukekohe Park Hydraulink Grand Finals 13-15 March 2009
We are now back at LG Motorsport HQ after a successful outing at the Hydraulink Grand Finals – the last round of the 2008-2009 BNT New Zealand V8s Championship at Pukekohe Park in Auckland. All three NZV8s races were as exciting as ever, with the crowd ‘on the edge of their seats’ for all of them – especially race 3 which saw a race-long battle for the championship lead, along with the LG Falcon charging through the field from 17th to 2nd place. We were thrilled to be invited to race two very well known classic racecars at Ruapuna Park over this weekend – providing a perfect opportunity for some ‘time out’ of Auckland and a break away from many weeks of prepping the LG Falcon for race meetings at Manfeild and Pukekohe. LG Falcon : Mixed Results at Manfeild
The LG Motorsport team had an up and down weekend at round six of the 2008-2009 New Zealand V8s Championship at Manfeild Autocourse in Feilding. After a positive start in testing on Friday (placed first in sessions one and two), Angus set the fourth fastest time in qualifying, and was 18th in race one and second in the final reverse grid race. The team are now returning to Auckland to prepare the LG Falcon for the final round of the championship at Pukekohe Park Raceway in Auckland... [more]

LG Falcon : Teretonga Park 'Southern 200' Race Report
The LG Motorsport team had a win at a very eventful round five of the 2008-2009 New Zealand V8s Championship at Timaru International Raceway. After a positive start in testing on Friday and Saturday (placed first in session one, sixth in session two and the Saturday warmup, and posting the fastest overall test lap time), Angus and the LG Falcon set the 3rd fastest time in qualifying, won the feature race and was 10th in race 2, however was unable to complete race 1 due to an alternator failure.. LG Falcon : Southern 200 Timaru Race Report
The LG Motorsport team had a strong weekend at round 4 of the 2008-2009 New Zealand V8s Championship at Timaru International Raceway. After a positive start in testing on Friday (placed first in session one and third in session two), Angus set the second fastest time in qualifying, and was second in both races one and two, finished 15th in the final reverse grid race, and ended up 4th overall for the round. LG Falcon: Pukekohe Park Race Report - November 2008
The LG Motorsport team had an extremely eventful weekend at round two of the 2008-2009 New Zealand V8s Championship at Pukekohe Park in Auckland. After a positive start in testing on Friday Angus Fogg set the equal fastest lap time in qualifying, finished the first race in 14th position, was unable to complete race 2 after sustaining accident damage, and finished 19th in the final reverse grid race. LG Falcon: Opening Round Race Report (October 2008)
The LG Motorsport team is off to a strong start in the 2008-2009 New Zealand V8s Championship after a race win at Taupo International Raceway over the weekend. After a strong start in testing on Friday Angus Fogg set the third quickest lap time in qualifying and carded 23rd and 8th place finishes in the two scratch (fastest to the front) races before his convincing win in the final reverse grid race. The result is that Angus and the LG Falcon car are provisionally in 5th place in the series. [more]
