Australian V8 Supercar driver, Tony D’Alberto will race Angus Fogg’s PropertyTutors.com Commodore in the upcoming NZ SuperTourer sprint series.

Team owner Fogg remains committed to the series, and will continue to run and engineer the car, intending to race again himself in when the NZ SuperTourer enduro series resumes later on in the year.

A previous commitment and subsequent date change/clash sees Fogg unable to be at the series opener at Hampton Downs, he will be racing himself at the Highlands Festival of Speed in Cromwell.

This will be D’Alberto’s first race meeting of the year, although his preparations so far have included ‘shaking down’ the Maranello Motorsport’s Ferrari 458 GT at Melbourne’s Phillip Island circuit earlier this week, which he will race the following weekend at Australia’s Bathurst 12 Hour race.

"It is awesome to have a driver of Tony’s calibre join the team for a full-on crack at the sprint title,” says Fogg.

“Tony has formed a great relationship with the team and our sponsors, he has proven to be fast in the car at Hampton Downs, and we fully expect him to be right on the pace this weekend.”

D’Alberto is equally excited to be behind the wheel of the PropertyTutors Holden and is looking forward to the Hampton Downs event.

"I’m really excited to be joining Angus Fogg Racing and the PropertyTutors team for the NZ SuperTourer sprint series. Foggy prepares a great car and has the right team around him,” says D’Alberto.

“I must thank Property Tutors and all of the AFR sponsors for giving me this opportunity, hopefully we can turn it on and spray some more champagne for the team.”

Sean Wood of PropertyTutors says he is looking forward to welcoming D’Alberto back into the team.

“Having seen what Tony can do in the car, plus the relationship we developed during the enduro rounds, means I am more than happy with the team’s line-up this season,” says Wood.

Angus Fogg Racing is supported by PropertyTutors.com, RadioLIVE, Moselle Panel & Paint, Incognitow Transporting, Point2Point, Tom Ryan Cartage, iSignit, PPG, Autopaint, and Segedins Auto Spares.
